Commends Judge Tomie Turner Green for nearly 23 years of service as an attorney and judge beginning in 1999.

Recognizes her educational achievements including degrees from Tougaloo College, Jackson State University, and Mississippi College School of Law, plus judicial certification from the National Judicial College.

Acknowledges her service in the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1992-1999, where she authored legislation creating the Administrative Office of the Court, Mississippi Court of Appeals, and Mississippi Torts Claim Board.
