Commends the 2021-2022 Booneville High School Lady Blue Devils Basketball Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 3A State Basketball Championship, their third state title.

Team finished the season with a 29-2 record and defeated Noxubee County High School 46-30 in the championship game on March 5, 2022.

Team averaged a 21.5-point margin of victory during playoffs, a significant improvement from a five-win season in 2021.

Names 20 student athletes on the team and recognizes Head Coach Michael Smith and five assistant coaches for their leadership and development of the players.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Head Coach Michael Smith and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
