Commends the Hernando High School Lady Tigers Fast-pitch Softball Team for winning the 2021 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 6A State Championship with a 35-3 season record.

Team defeated Oak Grove High School in the championship series with scores of 2-1, 2-4, and 4-0, and swept both semifinal opponents (DeSoto Central and Lewisburg).

Recognizes 24 players across multiple grade levels (seventh grade through seniors), three team managers, and coaching staff including Head Coach Nicki Whitten and Assistant Coaches Reagan Holdiness and Savannah McCann.

Affirms the House of Representatives policy to recognize and commend student-athletes whose excellence brings honor to their school, families, and the state.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the Hernando High School Lady Tigers Fast-pitch Softball Team and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
