Recognizes her career as an accounting professional serving Hinds County and Jackson Public Schools, holding degrees in business administration and finance from Jackson State University (1981, 1996)

Honors her community service on the Hinds County Human Resource Agency Board of Directors, where she served as Secretary and Vice Chair of the Finance and Agency Development Committee and received the Board of Directors Award in 2018

Expresses deepest sympathy to her survivors, including her husband of 36 years, Leonard; children State Representative Zakiya Summers-Harlee and Leonard "Duke" Williams II; and three grandchildren
