Commemorates the life and legacy of Mr. Johnny Allen Morrow, who passed away on December 27, 2021, and expresses sympathy to his family and community.

Recognizes Morrow as the first African-American automobile wholesaler in Mississippi and a respected entrepreneur known in the industry as Johnny "Retail" Morrow for his expertise in automobile appraisals.

Honors Morrow's establishment of "The Room," a multi-purpose rental hall and complex at Five Points in Jackson that preserved Mississippi history and hosted notable celebrities including Muhammad Ali, Snoop Dogg, and Morgan Freeman.

Acknowledges Morrow's role in organizing the 1965 Lanier High School Bulldogs Basketball Team's recognition in 2013, nearly 50 years after they won the only national championship for a Mississippi high school basketball team, resulting in their induction into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.

Directs distribution of the resolution to Morrow's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
