Recognizes Mr. Wilson's 37-year career in education, including 11 years teaching and coaching at Mattie Jones High School in Mississippi, 25 years with the Clarkstown Central School District in New York, and 2 years teaching in Hattiesburg after his retirement in 1994.

Acknowledges Mr. Wilson's military service with the United States Armed Forces at Fort Huachuca, Arizona from 1956 to 1958, and his accomplishments as a championship coach with 14 titles across multiple sports disciplines.

Highlights his extensive community involvement through affiliations with Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Boy Scouts of America, YMCA, various teachers associations, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Wilson's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
