Commends Mrs. Linda Gavin upon her retirement as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at South Central Regional Medical Center after more than four decades of service.

Recognizes her receipt of the Humanitarian of the Year honor from the Junior Auxiliary of Laurel and her numerous other accolades including Marketing Person of the Year from the Mississippi Hospital Association and Top 50 Businesswomen by Mississippi Business Journal.

Acknowledges her community leadership in Jones County, including being the first female member and president of the Laurel Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.

Honors her dedication to youth enrichment opportunities, civic engagement, and service through memberships in the Junior Auxiliary of Laurel and other professional organizations.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Mrs. Gavin and the Capitol Press Corps.
