Commends and congratulates Ms. Sharicka Gray of Fairview Elementary School in Columbus, Mississippi, for being named an Extraordinary Educator for 2022 by Curriculum Associates.

Recognizes Ms. Gray as one of 35 elite K-8 educators nationally selected for demonstrating growth, classroom innovation, high standards, and best-in-class use of i-Ready and Ready instructional resources.

Notes Ms. Gray has 12 years of teaching experience, holds a bachelor of science in elementary education from Mississippi State University, and teaches third grade in the Columbus Municipal School District.

Acknowledges that as an inductee, Ms. Gray receives local and national recognition, professional development opportunities, and an invitation to the Extraordinary Educators Leadership Summit in Boston, Massachusetts.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Ms. Gray and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
