Increases the annual salary of full-time district attorneys from $125,900.00 to $134,000.00 effective January 1, 2023.

Increases the maximum annual salary for criminal investigators in district attorney offices from $59,500.00 to $63,000.00.

Adds the Twenty-third Circuit Court District to the list of districts authorized to appoint up to two full-time criminal investigators, effective January 1, 2023.

Allows criminal investigators with law degrees to receive supplemental compensation from other available funds up to the maximum salary for a legal assistant to a district attorney.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
