Amends Section 43-19-101 of the Mississippi Code to require courts to account for the cost of health insurance coverage when ordering a noncustodial parent to obtain such coverage for a child or children.

Modifies the existing provision that applied only to custodial parents to explicitly include noncustodial parents when determining child support awards based on health insurance costs.

Maintains the requirement that courts make findings regarding the availability and cost of health insurance coverage to all parties and determine provisions for health insurance in the best interests of the child.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
