Adds sexual battery to the list of crimes in Mississippi with no statute of limitations, allowing prosecution at any time after the offense occurs

Removes the previous specific reference to "sexual battery of a child" since all sexual battery offenses are now covered under the broader exception

Other crimes already exempt from statutes of limitations include murder, manslaughter, rape, kidnapping, robbery, arson, burglary, and child exploitation offenses

Effective date: July 1, 2022
