Reduces the waiting period for felony expunction eligibility from 5 years to 2 years after successful completion of all sentence terms and conditions

Maintains existing requirement that all criminal fines and court costs must be paid before petitioning for felony expunction

Preserves the list of felonies ineligible for expunction, including crimes of violence, first-degree arson, drug trafficking, third or subsequent DUI offenses, felon in possession of firearm, sex offender registration violations, voyeurism, witness intimidation, abuse of vulnerable persons, and embezzlement

Continues to limit individuals to only one felony expunction, with multiple convictions from a common set of facts counting as one conviction

Effective date of July 1, 2022
