Authorizes Jackson County Sheriff to establish a Pilot Work Release Program, expanding the existing program beyond Rankin County

Limits program participation to 25 people at a time, excluding persons convicted of crimes listed in Section 97-3-2 (violent offenses)

Requires inmates to have no more than 1 year remaining on their sentence to be eligible, and employers must pay at least the prevailing wage or federal minimum wage

Mandates semiannual data reporting to PEER Committee and Corrections and Criminal Justice Oversight Task Force, including participant demographics, completion rates, recidivism, and earnings distribution

Extends the program's repeal date from July 1, 2022 to July 1, 2024
