Reenacts sections 47-5-1001 through 47-5-1014 of Mississippi Code governing the intensive supervision program and electronic home detention administered by the Department of Corrections.

Extends the repealer date for the intensive supervision program from June 30, 2022 to June 30, 2026.

Establishes that participants must pay monthly supervision fees (minimum $88 per month for adults, $10-$50 sliding scale for juveniles) deposited into a special fund for program administration costs.

Requires participants to maintain employment or student status, perform at least 10 hours of monthly community service, submit to drug and alcohol testing, and remain at approved residence except for work, school, and court-approved absences.

Prohibits placement of offenders convicted of crimes of violence or sex crimes in the intensive supervision program; allows courts to place eligible offenders as alternative to incarceration except when death sentence or life imprisonment is maximum penalty.
