Requires election officials to test each DRE (Direct Recording Electronic) unit for printing capability on or before the second day before any election to ensure units correctly print votes cast.

Mandates poll managers ensure each DRE unit prints a record of every elector's vote, including incomplete ballots, after each voter leaves the voting booth.

Requires the printed record of each elector's vote to be placed in the ballot box with other election materials and returned to the designated location for retention.

Applies to primary elections, general elections, and other elections where DRE units are used in Mississippi.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
