Authorizes the Secretary of State, with Mississippi Department of Public Safety support, to establish a secure internet website for qualified electors to register to vote online and update existing voter registration information

Requires applicants to have a current, valid Mississippi driver's license or photo ID card issued by the Department of Public Safety, with verification that name, date of birth, and ID number match state records

Online voter registration applications must be submitted at least 30 days before an election and processed by county registrars within 14 days of receipt

Applications may be rejected if incomplete, unverifiable against Department of Public Safety records, if the applicant is unqualified to vote, or if the registrar cannot determine the correct precinct assignment

Requires county registrars to provide public schools with mail-in voter registration applications and instructions for online registration to enable eligible students to register before elections

Effective date: July 1, 2022
