Federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and community health centers providing telehealth services as the distant or hub site shall be reimbursed at the applicable Medicaid fee rate for those services

Telehealth services provided by FQHCs and community mental health centers shall be billable at the same face-to-face encounter rate used for all other Medicaid reimbursements under the prospective payment system

The Division of Medicaid must recognize FQHCs, rural health clinics (RHCs), and community mental health centers (CMHCs) as both originating and distant site providers for telehealth reimbursement purposes

FQHCs, RHCs, and CMHCs may be reimbursed for both distant site and originating site telehealth services when provided by the same organization

The bill amends Section 43-13-117 of the Mississippi Code and takes effect July 1, 2022
