Increases the civil court education and training cost from $2.00 to $3.00 per case in chancery, circuit, county, justice and municipal courts.

Establishes a new Public Defenders Education Fund to provide education and training for public defenders across all Mississippi courts.

Redistributes fee collection from civil cases: 50% to State Court Education Fund, 25% to the new Public Defenders Education Fund, and 25% to State Prosecutor Education Fund.

Adds the Office of State Public Defender to the list of entities receiving funds under the court education and training cost program alongside the University of Mississippi Law Center and the Attorney General.

Effective date: July 1, 2022.
