Amends Section 25-3-39, Mississippi Code of 1972, to exempt certain attorneys employed by the Attorney General's Office from the state salary cap of 150% of the Governor's salary.

Authorizes the State Personnel Board to grant exemptions to these attorneys when acquiring professional services would otherwise be precluded by prevailing wages in the relevant labor market.

Effective July 1, 2022, with language indicating the amendment would stand repealed on June 30, 2022 (creating a conflicting effective date provision).
