Amends Section 23-15-171 to require the State Executive Committee to fill vacancies in municipal executive committees if those vacancies occur within 90 days of a municipal primary election.

Persons appointed to municipal executive committees by the State Executive Committee shall remain in their position until the next regular election for executive committees.

Moves duties of municipal executive committees during primary elections (previously struck) to a new subsection (3), requiring them to perform the same duties as county executive committees for state and county primary elections.

Brings forward Sections 23-15-309 and 23-15-313 regarding municipal candidate qualification procedures and temporary municipal executive committee formation without substantive changes.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
