MS SB2413

Prohibits the Secretary of State, State Board of Election Commissioners, registrars of voters, boards of supervisors, municipal governing authorities, county election commissions, and other election officials from spending private monetary donations on communications to potential electors or any aspect of conducting elections.

Applies the prohibition to spending by these officials in their official capacity conducting elections, whether direct or indirect use of private funds.

Effective July 1, 2022.
