Allows public school teachers transferring between Mississippi school districts to carry unused sick leave to their new district and have it credited for retirement purposes under Section 25-11-109.

Permits teachers transferring to another public school district in Mississippi to carry over unused personal leave (up to 5 days) to the next school year, matching the carryover provision for teachers remaining in the same district.

Maintains existing provisions requiring school boards to establish sick leave policies with a minimum of 7 days per year and personal leave policies with a minimum of 2 days per year for licensed employees and teacher assistants.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
