Deletes the existing minimum salary scale for school attendance officers that was based on education level and years of experience.

Requires the State Personnel Board to develop a salary scale for school attendance officers as part of the variable compensation plan, with pay ranges based on education, professional certification and licensure, and years of experience.

Removes specific minimum salary amounts that previously ranged from $24,528.29 to $37,413.59 annually depending on degree level and experience.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
