Transfers jurisdiction over Mississippi state parks from the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to the Mississippi Development Authority's Tourism Division effective July 1, 2022.

Renames the "Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks" to the "Commission on Wildlife and Fisheries" and the "Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks" to the "Department of Wildlife and Fisheries," removing parks from both entities' names and responsibilities.

Restricts the Tourism Division's authority to lease state park lands to public entities only, whereas the previous department could lease to any entity.

Updates numerous code sections throughout Mississippi Code to reflect the organizational change and ensure the Tourism Division succeeds to all contracts and obligations related to state parks previously held by the wildlife department.

Makes conforming amendments to definitions, references, and duties across multiple titles of Mississippi Code related to state parks, wildlife, fisheries, and recreation management.
