Adds formal definitions for "organized retail theft" and "organized retail theft enterprise" to Mississippi's racketeering statutes, defining organized retail theft as obtaining retail merchandise in quantities not for personal use with intent to resell through theft, fraud, or other illegal means

Defines "organized retail theft enterprise" as two or more persons associated for the purpose of transferring or selling stolen merchandise, services, or information through a planned or systematic scheme

Clarifies that criminal conduct constituting organized retail theft/fraud enterprises includes shoplifting, computer fraud, identity fraud, providing false information, mail fraud, and unauthorized use of social security numbers or credit/debit card information

Allows aggregation of merchandise values across multiple acts committed as part of a single scheme or course of conduct when determining the grade of offense

Effective date of July 1, 2022
