Prohibits retail food establishments from using cost-plus pricing formulas on grocery items unless the surcharge amount is conspicuously posted at the store.

Requires signage on a front sidewalk sign within 15 feet of each entrance and on a sign inside each entrance displaying the surcharge amount.

Defines "cost-plus pricing formula" as marking items at cost and adding a surcharge on top of the item's base cost.

Establishes violation as a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $1,000 or jail time up to one year, or both.

Treats violations as unlawful trade practices subject to additional remedies and penalties under Mississippi law, effective July 1, 2022.
