Requires all new federal election guidance received after the law's effective date to be approved by the Mississippi State Legislature before any state or local election officials can implement it

Mandates that any state agency or election administrator notify the Governor and Legislature within 5 business days of any communication with the U.S. Department of Justice or other federal agencies regarding voting or election laws

Requires legislative approval before any new federal election funds can be accepted or disbursed by election administrators in the state

Imposes a 30-day advance notice requirement to the Governor, Clerk of the House, and Secretary of the Senate before implementing federal election guidance or accepting federal election funds

Establishes a $5,000 fine for each violation of the notice requirements, with effective date of July 1, 2022
