Prohibits circuit court judges from allowing judicial candidates (Supreme Court Justices, Court of Appeals Judges, circuit judges, chancellors) to address the public during court terms

Removes the existing ban on judicial candidates aligning themselves with other candidates, political factions, or political parties during primary or general election campaigns

Eliminates the prohibition against political parties fundraising on behalf of, contributing to, or endorsing candidates for nonpartisan judicial offices

Removes the restriction preventing judicial candidates and their political committees from accepting contributions from political parties

Contains conflicting effective dates: states the act takes effect July 1, 2022, but also includes language that it "shall stand repealed on June 30, 2022"
