Creates a 9-member study committee to examine challenges of monitoring formerly incarcerated individuals and reducing recidivism through targeted support, supervision, and skills attainment

Committee includes 3 Senate members appointed by Lieutenant Governor, 3 House members appointed by Speaker, plus ex officio nonvoting members from Department of Corrections, Mississippi Parole Board, and Accelerate Mississippi

Appointments must be made within 30 days of the act's effective date, with findings reported to the Legislature by December 1, 2022

Department of Corrections shall provide staff and support for the committee; all state agencies must provide requested information and assistance

Study committee dissolves on or before January 1, 2023
