Amends Section 75-15-3 of Mississippi Code to define "virtual currency" as any digital representation of value used as a medium of exchange, unit of account, or store of value that is not recognized as legal tender by the United States government.

Amends Section 75-15-7 to exempt virtual currency activities from the Mississippi Money Transmitters Act, specifically exempting the buying, selling, issuing, taking custody of payment instruments, and stored value in virtual currency form.

Exempts receiving virtual currency for transmission to locations within or outside the United States from money transmitter licensing and regulatory requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
