Increases Municipal Fire Protection Fund from $4,850,000 to $7,500,000 annually, distributed to municipalities on a population basis for fire protection services.

Increases County Volunteer Fire Department Fund from $4,850,000 to $7,500,000 annually, with each county receiving a minimum of $30,000 and remaining funds distributed based on population.

Expands allowable uses of fire insurance rebate monies to include emergency medical services training and equipment for both municipal and county fire protection services.

Allows municipalities and counties to provide reasonable remuneration to volunteer firefighters in accordance with guidelines established by the Commissioner of Insurance.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Insurance to establish rules and regulations governing the use of fire insurance rebate monies; effective July 1, 2022.
