Increases maximum annual salaries for county board of supervisors members based on county assessed valuation, ranging from $33,500 for counties under $30 million to $54,000 for counties with $2 billion or more in assessed valuation

Allows additional salary increases of up to $2,000 starting January 1, 2024, and up to $4,000 starting January 1, 2028, if approved by the board of supervisors

Prohibits salary increases in the last year of a supervisor's term and limits supervisors receiving increases under the additional provisions to one increase per fiscal year

Requires boards of supervisors to pass a resolution stating the amount of any salary increase and record it in official minutes

Prohibits the use of state revenue to fund any salary increases authorized under this act, effective July 1, 2022
