Amends Mississippi's Law Enforcement Officers and Fire Fighters' Death Benefits Trust Fund to include COVID-19 deaths under the "cause of death" definition for benefit eligibility

Incorporates the federal Safeguarding America's First Responders Act (P.L. 116-157) presumption, which presumes COVID-19 was contracted in the line of duty for first responders

Death benefits of $100,000 are paid to designated beneficiaries when covered law enforcement officers or firefighters (including volunteers) die in the line of duty from covered causes

Benefits are paid in addition to workers' compensation or pension benefits and are exempt from creditors' claims

The Department of Public Safety manages the trust fund and disburses benefits according to established rules and regulations
