Appropriates $3,170,000 from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency for eligible COVID-19 expenses under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)

Funding period covers July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022

Prohibits use of appropriated funds for employee premium payments

Requires the agency to verify each expenditure is eligible under federal ARPA guidelines and that recipients have not received duplicate reimbursement from other sources including insurance

Mandates that if federal inspectors determine funds were used improperly and the state must repay the federal government, the agency or recipient responsible must reimburse the state
