Redefines "beer" in Mississippi law as a fermented beverage with no more than 8% alcohol by weight, brewed from malt (in whole or part) or malt substitutes including rice, grain, bran, sugar glucose, or molasses

Expands the definition to include products classified as "beer" or "malt beverages" under federal law, specifically the Federal Alcohol Administration Act and Internal Revenue Code, as well as regulations from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau

Maintains the 8% alcohol by weight limit for all products qualifying as "beer" under the revised definition

Effective date of July 1, 2022, with a repeal date of June 30, 2022 (note: this appears to be a drafting error in the bill text)
