Amends Section 83-9-39 of the Mississippi Code to require health insurance policies, plans, and alternative delivery systems to include mental health treatment by community mental health centers operated by regional commissions.

Prohibits insurers from denying community mental health centers or contract entities the right to participate as contract providers if they agree to meet the insurer's service requirements and reimbursement terms.

Requires insurers to recognize Board of Mental Health certification and licensure of mental health providers and prohibits use of licensure status as a reason to deny participation as a contract provider.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
