Appropriates $9,099,803.00 from the State General Fund for the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce for fiscal year 2023 (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023).

Authorizes $14,649,548.00 in expenditures from special source funds collected by the department, including subscription fees and admission fees from the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum.

Authorizes 226 permanent and 13 time-limited positions within the department.

Appropriates $1,100,000.00 for the Beaver Control Program, with specified funding sources including $650,000.00 from the Mississippi Department of Transportation and fees, and $200,000.00 from the State Forestry Commission.

Establishes performance measures and targets for fiscal year 2023 across multiple divisions including Plant Industry, Museum, Regulatory, Marketing, Livestock Theft, Farmer's Market, and Seed Testing Lab operations.
