Appropriates $5,648,867.00 from the State General Fund to the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission for fiscal year 2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023).

Appropriates an additional $75,000.00 from the State Treasury for equipment upgrades, including imaging system improvements.

Appropriates $100,000.00 from the Second Injury Fund (Fund 3352300000) for payments under Section 71-3-73, Mississippi Code of 1972.

Authorizes 55 permanent positions for the Commission and establishes performance targets for case resolution timelines, self-insurer reviews, and medical cost containment savings.

Requires the Commission to contract with the industrial private sector for a safety education and training program using appropriated funds.
