Appropriates $12,000,000 from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the State Department of Health for the Covid-19 Hospital Expanded Capacity Program for fiscal year 2022-2023

Appropriates $25,000,000 from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the State Department of Health for the COVID-19 Mississippi Local Provider Innovation Grant Program for fiscal year 2022-2023

Prohibits use of appropriated funds for employee premium payments

Requires the Department of Health to verify that all expenditures comply with federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) guidelines and ensure recipients have not received duplicate reimbursement from other sources

Recipients who improperly spend funds that are later determined non-compliant by federal inspectors must repay those amounts to the State of Mississippi for return to the federal government
