Authorizes issuance of state general obligation bonds not to exceed $350,000 to assist Itawamba County Board of Supervisors in purchasing a fire engine for the Houston Fire Department.

Any excess bond funds shall be used to assist Itawamba County in purchasing playground equipment for the Houston Community Park.

Creates a special fund designated "2022 Itawamba County Equipment Purchase Fund" within the State Treasury to receive and disburse bond proceeds for the specified purposes.

Bonds may be issued at any time before July 1, 2026, with maturity not to exceed 25 years, and bear interest at rates not exceeding limits set by Mississippi Code Section 75-17-101.

Bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the State of Mississippi, are exempt from state taxation, and any remaining fund balance after project completion shall be applied to bond debt service.
