Appropriates $14,623,000 from the State General Fund to Marshall County for fiscal year 2023 to complete the Byhalia Railroad Bridge Project.

Funds construction of a bridge over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and Old Highway 78 with access ramps, and a bridge over Byhalia Creek.

Covers approximately 1.5 miles of two-lane road from Old Highway 78 to Bubba Taylor Road, improvements to existing Bubba Taylor Roadway to Mississippi Highway 309, and a gravity sewer line with lift station serving the area west of Byhalia Creek.

State Treasurer shall issue payment upon warrants from the State Fiscal Officer, following normal requisition procedures.

Effective July 1, 2022.
