Commends Bill Griffis, owner of Griffis Motors Inc. (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership in Philadelphia, Mississippi), on his nomination for the 2022 TIME Dealer of the Year award, one of the automobile industry's most prestigious honors.

Griffis is one of 47 dealers nominated nationally for the 53rd annual award from over 16,000 dealers nationwide and will be honored at the 105th annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show in Las Vegas on March 11, 2022.

Griffis served as Chair of the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association in 2020 and spearheaded legislation giving Mississippi dealers the same warranty labor and parts reimbursement as 46 other states.

His dealership has contributed substantially to local schools for 30 years, including providing driver's education cars, building scoreboards, and awarding $1,000 scholarships to employees' children who graduated high school and pursued further education.

Ally Financial will contribute $1,000 to Griffis's chosen 501(c)3 charity, with finalists receiving $5,000 and the national winner receiving $10,000 for their charities.
