Extends the Legislature's sympathy to the family of former Mississippi State Senator Joseph (Jo) Thomas Stogner, who served Senate District 40 from 1988-2004 and passed away on June 30, 2021, at age 82.

Honors Senator Stogner's 16 years of public service, his work with Dairymen, Inc., and his operation of a dairy and tree farm in Sandy Hook, Marion County.

Recognizes his lifetime commitment to community service, fair treatment of others, education advocacy for young people, and active membership in civic and agricultural organizations.

Survived by his wife of 54 years (Mary Jane Stogner), two children, five grandchildren, and one brother; preceded in death by his parents and multiple in-laws.

Resolution to be presented to Senator Stogner's surviving family, forwarded to the Mississippi Cattlemen's Association, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
