Mississippi State University "Bulldogs" baseball team won the 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship on June 30, 2021, defeating Vanderbilt University 9-0 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska.

MSU became the first team in Mississippi State University history to win an NCAA National Championship in any team sport after 129 years of playing college baseball.

Will Bednar was named 2021 NCAA College World Series Most Outstanding Player; catcher Logan Tanner, first baseman Luke Hancock, shortstop Lane Forsythe, outfielders Tanner Allen and Rowdey Jordan, and pitcher Will Bednar were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Head Coach Chris Lemonis was named 2021 National Coach of the Year by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and became the first Division I head coach to reach the NCAA College World Series in his first two seasons.

Resolution congratulates the Mississippi State University baseball team, head coach, athletes, coaching staff, administration, faculty, students and alumni on winning the national championship and recognizes MSU for excellence as an institution of higher education.
