Commends and congratulates the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium (MASGC) on its 50th anniversary, recognizing it as the nation's first bi-state Sea Grant Program established in 1972.

Recognizes MASGC's 50 years of university-based coastal science research, education, and engagement serving Mississippi, Alabama, and the Gulf of Mexico region.

Acknowledges MASGC's focus areas including Environmental Literacy and Workforce Development, Healthy Coastal Ecosystems, Resilient Communities and Economies, and Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Encourages MASGC to continue supporting scientific research and education at Mississippi and Alabama colleges and universities, including member institutions such as Mississippi State University, University of Southern Mississippi, Auburn University, and University of Alabama.

Requests the Secretary of the Senate transmit an official copy of the resolution to MASGC and the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
