Jackson Prep "Patriots" boys basketball team won the MAIS Overall State Championship on March 3, 2022, defeating Jackson Academy 43-32 at Mississippi College, marking their first title since 2012.

Team featured strong defensive performance holding Jackson Academy to 18 points through three quarters and made 6-of-12 three-pointers, with Cam Brent scoring 11 points with six rebounds and six assists, and Haddon McCleod adding 11 points.

Jackson Prep girls basketball team also won the MAIS Overall Title in the same year, creating a sweep for the school's 2022 basketball programs.

Jackson Prep has won boys basketball championships in 20 years total: 1975, 1978-1981, 1984-1993, 1996-1998, 2012-2013, and 2022.

Concurrent resolution commends Coach Tim Wise and the team, directing the resolution to be presented to Coach Wise and Headmaster Lawrence M. Coco, III and forwarded to the Jackson Prep Board of Trustees.
