Acknowledges the newspaper's civic contributions to Columbus and the Golden Triangle Region since its founding, including serving as a primary news source before radio and television

Notes the newspaper's continued excellence, with its newsroom winning top state awards and its advertising department winning top awards for two consecutive years

Directs that the resolution be presented to Peter Imes and staff, forwarded to the Columbus City Council, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps
