Commemorates and celebrates Bishop C. James King, Jr.'s quadrennial service as the 63rd Bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, assigned to the Fourth Episcopal District covering Mississippi and Louisiana since 2018.

Recognizes Bishop King's 56 years in ministry, including pastoral positions in Georgia, Washington D.C., Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, and his 12 years as Presiding Elder of the Cincinnati-Dayton-Indianapolis District.

Honors his leadership of Project One, Inc., a faith-based nonprofit that has served over 15,000 youth through summer employment and after-school programs including the Summer Earning and Enrichment Program and Fatherhood Program.

Acknowledges his administrative service on the General Board of Personnel Services for 24 years and his role as former Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Interdenominational Theological Center, the first CME preacher to hold that position.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Bishop King and his family, forwarded to the Fourth Episcopal District of the CME Church, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
