Commends Dr. Michael "Mike" J. McGrevey on his retirement as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Mississippi Development Authority, effective March 31, 2022, after serving since July 2015.

Credits McGrevey's leadership with attracting over $10 billion in private investment, creating 30,000 new jobs, and securing the Continental Tire facility project that created more than 2,500 jobs in central Mississippi.

Recognizes McGrevey's role in establishing Mississippi's site development grant program and creating the Mississippi Defense Initiative to strengthen project recruitment competitiveness.

Notes McGrevey served as founding Chairman of the Mississippi Lottery Board since October 2018 and served on the Mississippi Veterans Affairs Board from 2015-2021, having also served in the United States Air Force from May 1979 through April 2000.

Directs that this resolution be presented at McGrevey's retirement reception and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
