Honors Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Daniel, who passed away on January 17, 2022, a prominent criminal justice professional, educational administrator, and public servant from Jackson, Mississippi.

Recognizes her approximately 50-year career of service including roles with the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office, Attorney General's Office, Jackson Urban League, and Jackson State University's Graduate Department of Education.

Commends her work as Executive Director of the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus Foundation for Education and Economic Development (FEED) program, which created a nationally recognized after-school program serving 37 counties and over 500,000 students.

Acknowledges her Christian faith and service as a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and her dedication to her family, including two daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Directs the Senate to present this resolution to Mrs. Daniel's family and make it available to the Capitol Press Corps.
